Another method which is widely used for making St. Kitts and Nevis real estate investment is the Citizenship by investment program, by using this method investors will be able to make real estate investments whilst at the same time gain citizenship of the island federation. In order to qualify for the program a potential investor must make St. Kitts and Nevis real estate investments of no less than US$400,000. Regsitration fees of US$50,000 (main applicant and others over 18) and US$25,000 for all other dependents must be paid in full. Due diligence fees must also be paid.
There are quite a few incentives being offered by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis for making real estate investment In St. Kitts and Nevis. These include duty free on materials imported into the country for the construction of hotels (no less than 10 rooms) and special tax treatment.
